Re: Psylocke

Yes much better than any previous version but I must say I'm not a fan of the face portrait. A lot of people say Hasbro has a real problem doing Asian faces but they have done some beautiful ones in the past. For instance I thought the Silk and Karma faces were great. And actually if they hadn't used it on Silk I think that sculpt would have worked great here. I think at this point we can probably say it's just a Pslocke thing that they can't get right. All that to say I must have this figure and I will have it at any cost. With or without the Thanos figure which I have no desire to have.

only have had the Kwannon version that was with the Nimrod 3-pack.

that wasn't the Kwannon version of Psylocke. That was still Betsy from the Fall of Archangel arc in the Uncanny X-force book.

Very happy about this Psylocke. I missed getting the original release (managed to get the Apocalypse leg though) and only have had the Kwannon version that was with the Nimrod 3-pack. I'm a massive Thanos fan so this one is a great addition to my collection as well.

You have to believe there have been at least a few or maybe several designs for Goblin Queen up to this point. They just can't find a way to get it out there. I think the design they showed for the EoV was probably about as risqu as they are willing to get with it. And whether it was meant to be put as a tier in that Haslab or not a $350 exclusive through Pulse was probably the most secure way that it ended up in as few young hands as possible. Not saying it was a perfect arrangement and certainly not saying it made sense and I still believe it was a last ditch effort to drum up sales but it was to this point our best chance to get a somewhat accurate Goblin Queen so far. Honestly at this point I think the only other way to do it is through an online exclusive. Maybe with an Inferno set with Scott and Alex. Not that I'd be all that excited to have to buy another one of either of those characters but options are really limited here. Of course I've always been of the opinion that an online only adult collector subline or maybe even the occasional wave has always been a good idea. I mean the majority of collectors are adults anyways and MCU figures will always find presence on store shelves. And really didn't the Blackheart wave essentially use that adult collector footprint? The whole mystical/occult theme was just a little too iffy for Hasbro to get them put it on big box store shelves so they did it online only. Take that same concept and use it to get some of those characters who've been deemed too controversial for general consumption. There a quite a few much wanted characters that could make it into this. Characters like Goblin Queen, Mephisto, Outback Rogue, Inferno Storm, Scalphunter, Big Bertha, Classic Gamora, Classic Typhoid Mary, Man-Ape, Original Emma Frost, Satana. And on and on.

I think eventually we'll get to see a Mephisto. There is a rumor on him. I hope we get to see more mystical characters like more in the Gods category, like Zeus, Chthon, Eternity, Infinity, Celestials, Living Tribunal, Cul Borson, Perrikus etc.

So many cool reveals today, but that Shuma Gorath is just awesome. Hopefully it won't be super pricey.

my guess is 65-70.

So, clearly in the promotional comic image, he has 8 tentacles but the toy has only 6?

You're referring to the comic art shown on the box? I think it shows 6, but some arms are folded over and back, making it appear as if there are 7 or 8 arms.

I watched the review this morning. I was shocked to see that the figure is already available in Australia.
