I was hard passing on this, but the more I see it the more I like it, it really holds no importance to me, but it looks pretty darn cool, it's a fun design, I'm getting more tempted to pull the trigger, but it's by no means a must have, but it's a certain high contender for a rainy day impulse buy.

I like having figures I can put into other displays. I got this and placed him in my X-men display.

I was just looking at this figure at my Walmart. Thinking I would grab him if he gets marked down then I see this post and snag one. He looks good I like the costume on this one it's just different for a Spider-Man. Don't know anything about the story it's from just know a good looking figure when I see one.

I don't think this would've ever been a huge seller regardless, but I feel like this wouldn't have gotten down to nearly half off quite so quickly if there were any other figures of other characters in their Hellfire Gala outfits to go with it.

Definitely an interesting iteration of the character, one that's a bit to niche for my collection, but tempting to pick up at such a low price point.

The Spider-Man fatigue is getting so real for me! I'm not shelling out (or dealing with Walmart preorder BS) to get a slightly recolored velocity suit. Maybe I'll pick it up if it goes on clearance.

Seriously? Out of all the X-Men characters at the X-Men's Hellfire Gala...we get a Spider-Man?!?

If I'm being generous, I do think this may be the easiest "testing the waters" choice, since his Gala look can be done with almost-entirely straight-up reuse (if not 100%, I can't tell if the head is reuse or not), whereas most of the other looks will need at least a bit of new tooling, plus the simple fact that he's Spider-Man could potentially mitigate shelf-warming.

I do reeeeally hope this leads to Hasbro doing more Gala looks, though.

I do wish they went with bigger body, after all it's adult Peter. But paint deco is done well, however, I do think Hasbro should have used marbleized plastic in this case or whatever they used for 2099 figure, it would have conveyed costume look way better.

It does seem like Hasbro is kinda just switching to the First Appearance body as the default Peter body all-round, even for adult Peter? Cuz the Secret Wars Symbiote Spidey was on this body too, and he's well into his 20s by that point. I think the FF Spidey and Wolverine 2-pack used it too. Personally I like it cuz I do think the height is a bit more appropriate relative to other characters, but I can understand it being a bit jarring when they had the RYV body as the "new standard".
