The Spider-Man fatigue is getting so real for me! I'm not shelling out (or dealing with Walmart preorder BS) to get a slightly recolored velocity suit. Maybe I'll pick it up if it goes on clearance.

If I'm being generous, I do think this may be the easiest "testing the waters" choice, since his Gala look can be done with almost-entirely straight-up reuse (if not 100%, I can't tell if the head is reuse or not), whereas most of the other looks will need at least a bit of new tooling, plus the simple fact that he's Spider-Man could potentially mitigate shelf-warming.
I do reeeeally hope this leads to Hasbro doing more Gala looks, though.

It does seem like Hasbro is kinda just switching to the First Appearance body as the default Peter body all-round, even for adult Peter? Cuz the Secret Wars Symbiote Spidey was on this body too, and he's well into his 20s by that point. I think the FF Spidey and Wolverine 2-pack used it too. Personally I like it cuz I do think the height is a bit more appropriate relative to other characters, but I can understand it being a bit jarring when they had the RYV body as the "new standard".
Seriously? Out of all the X-Men characters at the X-Men's Hellfire Gala...we get a Spider-Man?!?

Love this suit design, definitely getting this one. Hopefully Walmart doesn't give me any issues...

Just weird. Not saying it doesn't look cool. And in a world of a thousand Spider-Men I'm not saying it doesn't have it's place. But it's just so random. At least on the packaging it actually calls out where the look comes from instead of the all too standard and all too simple "Spider-Man" that they seem to put on the box of every version of Spidey they've done to this point.

I prefer these as exclusive. Non essential costumes that not many people want. But I will get it.
