Bring the excitement and wonder of the Marvel Universe to your collection with the Hasbro Marvel Legends Maximum Series Deadpool figure! The collectible figure is detailed to look like the character from Marvel's Deadpool, X-Men, and X-Force comics. This 6-inch scale Marvel figure is fully articulated with poseable head, arms, and legs. This Maximum Series action figure set is bursting with 24 accessories, including: alternate head; 2 pointer hands; thumbs up, v fingers, 2 fists, 2 grip hands, knife, 2 swords, blaster, 3 blast effects, stick of dynamite, a chimichanga (for when you need a snack), and weapon accessories; plus that loveable spud Doop with a clear floating stand. Hasbro Marvel action figures' 6-inch scale make them great for posing and displaying in fans' collections. Reimagine fourth wall-breaking Deadpool comics-inspired scenes on your shelf with Marvel Legends action figures (each sold separately, subject to availability).
The first Maximum got a lot right, but the price was off, and the accessories left something to be desired. The second Maximum, had a more appropriate price for the size, but still had pins, and the head sculpt choices left many scratching their heads. Now the third one has a good (new) sculpt and with the addition of Doop it tugs at our nostalgia and is almost appropriately priced. Haven't bought the first two Maximum, but I will be picking up this one. Hope the rumors of a Maximum Thor are true and I hope they knock it out of the park. Maximum Daredevil too with a totally new sculpt that is the proper height and build (Daredevil shouldn't look like Spiderman, so don't reuse Maximum Spiderman parts).
Unmasked head omission is criminal but I personally wanted pure 90s Ed McGuinness style one, especially when they are including Doop that came with ToyBiz figure that sorta tried to do the McGuinness (or at least had comic book from that run) + Maximum Spidey and Hulk also had 90s theme but I suppose Hydra Bob pack one already did 90s theme with advanced articulation of RYV body and it made more sense to remake then modern costume figure from 9 year ago.

If there is a rule against that, I feel like they are just wasting money and molds if there is. I don't collect Joe's, but on the rare occasion I see them at Ollie's, I'm tempted to grab them for Frank to increase his arsenal! Kinda wish they'd bring back accessory packs!
Some of the licensed brands have stipulations that they cannot use tooling from other brands or licenses. An example is Punisher's UZI is a slightly different mold ( different proportions, different details etc) than Snake-Eyes' UZI, despite being the same scale and the same gun. The reason why they don't use the same tooling is that the specific part maybe on a tooled part with other proprietary casting parts, and it would be a waste of time/plastic etc from casting a single part from a multi-part tool. The other reason is "lazy-inclination": that licensors want to avoid parts being used that may be inappropriate for their brand. Example: if the aforementioned UZI were used from Punisher or Snake-Eyes, on a Star Wars Stormtrooper figure, instead of the modified Sterling sub-machine gun prop that was actually tooled and used. Yeah, the tool for the former might be available and cheaper, but it is not signature to that character in the brand.A (in)famous example of this is Kenner using some DC Super Powers tooling to make figures from Robin Hood

In my opinion (and without having it in hand, of course), this appears to be the best of the 3 Maximum figures so far. I intend to purchase it even if I don't need another Deadpool or Doop.
I bought Maximum Spider-Man and am glad that I did. I really like it. I think that I'll like this Deadpool even more. On the flip side, I bought the Maximum Hulk as well and that has turned into one of my most regrettable figure purchases in recent history. I absolutely hate it. I should have stuck to my instincts and skipped it.

I have a large tub full of Classified Series guns and comparing them definitely looks like a match. Point is if they're gonna reuse s*** why make these Maximum. Nothing Maximum about pins and reused crap. Just my 2 pennies

This better not be 49.99 lol. This is a 29.99 figure. It looks good, the accessories are fine but it's not maximum to me. I hope the next one is Thor though and do right by him.
I don't like these Maximums... I feel like they're lacking and overpriced. Granted, I haven't gotten any so I don't know how they feel in-hand or how they move by experience, but I do feel like I have enough experience to express my opinion.
Way back when, back when Black Series started, I remember thinking "this is it. I'm never gonna need another Darth Maul. It's perfect. He comes with both hooded and hoodless headsculpts, the saber can have one, two or none of the blades on, he even comes with his binoculars from Tatooine!". Sure, he could've used alternative hands, pinless joints, and maybe another snarling face, but I don't think that would've been worth twice the price, you know? Point was, and still is, that was the ultimate Darth Maul and one would not ever need to upgrade for a newer version. I haven't needed to and they've released maybe 4 different Mauls since. And the thing is, each release came with fewer accessories (except for the one with the vehicle). Then again, they're different outfits, but they're not getting better for the price... and the price keeps climbing. The issue I have with Black Series right now is that what used to be a standard release is now a Deluxe, and some Deluxes lack what a standard release used to have. I fear that's what's happening to Marvel Legends with these "Maximum Series".
We're no longer getting as many BAFs, we're getting less accessories, all at a higher price point. And these Maximum series... they're not ultimate versions. There's still more they could be doing... and it's twice the cost of a regular figure. And honestly a lot of the sculpting and accessories can and will be reused for different characters.
Maybe I'm being overly critical, maybe they are worth the price and I'm just not willing to pay it. I just think it would completely drive me out of collecting if that price became the new standard for Marvel Legends and a few waves down the line they stopped caring and just did the bare minimum of just the figure without any accessories at all.

Yes, I get that Doop is the draw for this release, but other than that one piece all you are paying for are hands and recycled accessories. But on the plus side at least they didn't add a MTG card and up the bill to $100.
Most if the accessories are new.
