2025 Target Fall Geek-Out Kicks Off Soon And Should See New Marvel Legends Pre-Orders Go Up

by Jay Cochran
August 27, 2025
The other day we told you how the next Target Geek-Out event would be kicking off this coming Friday, August 29th with weekly 9am EDT product drops from various companies.

We don't know exactly which week will see the Hasbro drops, though probably NOT this coming Friday. Dan Yun had said the previously announced Marvel Legends X-Men Retro Cardback Target exclusive Mystique figure would be going up for pre-order sometime in September.

Whatever Friday ends up being for Hasbro, we do expect both the Mystique and newly announced Storm figures to go up for pre-order on the same day. When we learn of the specific Friday that happens, we will be sure to let you know.

Lol I hadn't even realized Mystique hadn't gone up yet. That figure was revealed so long ago now.

Ok...one more Outback Team member...we just need Betsy Braddock in her armored costume and shirtless Colossus.

(I wouldn't mind a Gateway either)

Im holding out hope it will be sooner rather than later!

I'd actually love a Gateway figure. That portal effect that came with Zero and Strange would work really well. He'd need a spinning (whatever that thing was called) Put the team walking out of that portal with him in front...and man, that would be an awesome shelf set up! His son is needed too, for my Avengers set ups!

The picture didn't work, so not sure which you mean. I actually really liked all the recent costume variations she rocked. The Freddie Mercury coat was a Gala look right? Or did she wear that in some regular issues? I was thinking of the gold carapace with the shoulder armor personally.

Yeah, that look is really cool. A great storyline for her too!

Oh, yeah I would say this is Where Mystique and Storm are coming out, I have no interest in Mystique, it's not different enough from the one I have, the Storm is good, but it's just good, I can't kid myself though I'm probably going to go for it, But I'm not that thrilled by it, I feel so Stormed out, I really do want to see X-Men Red Storm at some point though, and I liked her Extraordinary look, The Storm I really want to see is when she was the Goddess of thunder in that Asgardian Armor that would be the Storm I'm waiting for, but I have doubts that's ever going to happen.

only to sell out in 2-3 minutes. However if they stock them like they did Prof X and Jean, there will be no concerns about finding them at stores later.

A lot of Target stuff doesn't sell out that fast. Only the stuff people want.

I have no idea how popular this Mystique and Storm will be. I sort of want that Jean head with Mystique to go on Phoenix, but I have the Black Queen version and it's a bit too big for the body I guess.
