September is almost upon us and to kick things off we have two new Marvel Legends pre-orders going up in the first week of the month.

Starting on September 2 at 1pm ET we will see the new Marvel Legends Emperor Doom figure go up for pre-order at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth. This one should also be available at Amazon.

Then on September 3 we will see the new Marvel Legends Pulse Exclusive X-Men 97 Cyclops And Jean Grey 2-Pack go up for pre-order for $49.99. This will go live on the Pulse website at 1pm ET for Premium Members and 2pm ET for everyone else.

Dan Yun from Hasbro has also suggested on social media we MIGHT also see a new Marvel Legends reveal sometime this coming week. If that happens we will be sure to update you here about whatever it is.

Both are musts! Doom as Sorcerer Supreme? Totally awesome.

Kinda sucks that I'm worried about getting Scott and Jean. Pulse has been annoying lately and I get an hour delay before getting this. Updated Scott is extremely high on my list. All the Cykes we have for looks that lasted a few issues or a short run, when he wore this costume for a really long time. I'd say his signature look, followed by the Jim Lee look. And Jean finally looks right for an extremely iconic look for her. The last one was God awful! So yeah, I'm excited for this one!

Both are easy passes for me

Emperor Doom is an easy pass for me at a time where it feels like I've been buying nearly everything.

I wouldn't call the Jean and Scott 2-pack a must have for me, but it was my favorite of the 3 X-Men '97 2-packs and I do plan on pre-ordering it. Gambit/Rouge was never something I considered and Storm/Wolverine is one that I pre-ordered but that I'm still on the fence about and may cancel.

Cyclops and Jean were no brainers for me. I have been wanting an updated Cockrum Cyclops for years and after the third (that right third) attempt at this version of Jean, I think they finally got her right.

Doom I'm getting as well for my magic shelf, either the villain to next to Strange. I wonder if we can get a new Loki as the Sorcerer Surpreme and Clea.

Doom is pretty darn cool, I'm contemplating him, I just don't think I really need it, as much as I always love a Doom, I feel like I have good Doom action, with Super Skrull wave, Cabal Set (as my Doom Bot) and Secret Wars....so really do I need this? Maybe, sorta? Jean & Scott are a instant pass.
