Apparently, actor Thomas Jane really loved playing Frank Castle in his 2004s comic book film "The Punisher." In fact, he loved the part so much that he made a fan-made short film featuring himself as a hard-nose vigilante who (under an unofficial basis) looks and acts like Frank Castle. Featuring a small cameo by Ron Perlman, the 10 minute short, titled "Dirty Laundry," sees Jane confronting a gang of drug dealers outside a downtown laundry mat. Could Jane be looking to return for a new "Punisher" sequel or reboot? Who knows? What we do confess, after watching these bone-crushing scenes, we certainly hope so.
"I wanted to make a fan film for a character I've always loved and believed in - a love letter to Frank Castle & his fans. It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it. It's been a blast to be a part of from start to finish -- we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it." "Not pushing anything. Just a fan film from Friends of Frank." -- Thomas Jane
Warning: The film contains language, extreme violence and blood!
