Thor: The Dark World Set Images Hit The Net

DailyMail has posted some images from the set of the new Thor movie, "The Dark World." Most of the images focus on what appears to be a battle scene involving Jaimie Alexander, who plays Asgardian warrior Sif. Filming for the movie began yesterday, 9/10.

Chris Hemsworth who plays Thor was not on location. He is currently off filming another movie called "Rush" where he plays racing legend James Hunt.

The movie will also star Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Stellan Skarsgard, Rene Russo, Kat Dennings, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Christopher Eccleston. Disney and Marvel Studios have Thor: The Dark World set to premiere on November 8th, 2013 with Alan Taylor directing.
