MTV spoke with actor Lee Pace (The Hobbit) who told them that he will be auditioning for the role of Star-Lord in the upcoming Guardian of the Galaxy movie from Marvel Entertainment next Monday

"I go in on Monday to meet them all and audition for it, so wish me luck, I'm very excited about it. The script is great. The character is a lot of fun."

In the comics Peter Quill becomes Star-Lord, a human-alien-cyborg hybrid and member of the Guardians of the Galaxy. His suit gives him the ability of sustained flight and survival in space.
