Zero Dark 30's Chris Pratt Lands Guardians Of The Galaxy Role

Deadline is reporting that Chris Pratt (Money Ball, Zero Dark 30) has landed the lead role for Marvel's upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie which will be directed by James Gunn. He will be playing the character of Star-Lord who is the Guardians leader and an offspring of a human mother and an alien father. Guardians of the Galaxy is slated to open in theaters on August 1, 2014.
