Lee Pace Joins Guardians Of The Galaxy Cast As A Villain

SFX is reporting that actor Lee Pace (Pushing Daisies, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, The Hobbit trilogy) has been cast as a villain in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie from Marvel. Pace had previously auditioned for the lead role of Star Lord which ended up going to actor Chris Pratt. It is unknown what exact character Pace will be playing though some rumors/speculation have suggested he might be playing the cosmic character known as The Collector.

Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy, directed by James Gunn (we still love writing that) and starring Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Michael Rooker and Ophelia Lovibond, is set for release in the UK in August 2014.
