Joss Whedon stopped by and chatted with Jimmy Fallon on his Late Night show and confirmed that Marvel characters Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver would be in The Avengers 2.
“I found their powers to be very visually interesting,” Whedon explained.
“In the last film a lot of the characters had very ‘punchy powers’ where they were always punchy something and that got kind of boring after awhile.” Whedon does mention that no one has been cast yet for the brother and sister team.
