Paul Giamatti Likely In For Amazing Spider-Man 3 But Not 4

following yesterday's news that the writing trio of Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Jeff Pinkner had signed on for the 3rd installment of Amazing Spider-Man, it now appears that actor Paul Giamatti who plays Aleksei Sytsevich aka "The Rhino" in Amazing Spider-Man 2 will also be returning. In the interview with Collider.com he says,

"I think I'm only doing the next movie, I don't think I'm in the next-next movie,"

As far as the rumors of a Sinister Six plot being worked on for the fourth movie he said no one had told him any specific details about that.

"They've not told me anything hard and fast about that."

Collider is reporting that the writing trio of Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Jeff Pinkner have been picked up again to script the third Amazing Spider-Man movie. Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released on May 2nd, 2014.

Sony has staked out the dates for the third and fourth Amazing Spider-Man films, setting June 10, 2016, and May 4, 2018, as release dates, respectively.
