Fantastic Four Director Josh Trank Speaks Out About Doom Gender Rumors & More

The other day we told you about an article THR ran where they stated sources had told them that the idea of changing the gender of the Dr. Doom character from male to female in the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot was being toyed with. Well now the movie's director Josh Trank has taken to Twitter to try and clear up some of the many rumors surrounding the movie.

Here is what he had to say about Dr. Doom being a female:




When it comes to Josh Gad being cast as Ben Grimm:




As for the Fantastic Four getting a new origin:




As for the rumor that the movie would begin filming in June:




So there you have it from the Directors mouth. Really the only thing we seem know about this movie is that Michael B. Jordan has been cast to play the role of Johnny Storm/Human Torch.
