Disney and Marvel have announced that Captain America 3 will hit theaters on May 6, 2016. That also happens to be the same date that Warner Bros'/DC Comics Superman Vs. Batman movie hits theaters. So look for Marvel vs. DC showdown at the box office in two years, unless of course Warner Bros. blinks and reschedules the Superman sequel which will star Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman.
As big as a Captain America fan that I am, I honestly do not know if Cap will have enough pull to top DC's big two. Of course even if Cap only comes close, that might still be a victory for Marvel and Disney considering Batman and Superman are DC's bigt guns.
