Mentally Controlled Doombots To Be Used In New Fantastic Four Movie?!?

The other day we reported to you how actor Toby Kebbell had been cast as the evil Doctor Doom for 20th Century Fox's upcoming Fantastic Four reboot movie which will also star Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell.

Now Nerdist News has posted an unconfirmed rumor that the upcoming Josh Trank directed movie will also incorporate Doombots as well to face off against the first family of Marvel and that these robots will be mentally controlled with "telekinetically" by Doom.

In the comics Doombots are robotic duplicates of Doom created by Doom himself to act as an army and security force for his Latveria homeland which he rules over with an iron fist. The Doombots are also often used as stand-ins for when Doom doesn't wish to make an actual appearance himself.

Typically Doombots are just programed and use artificial intelligence to operate, and are not controlled through mental commands as is being suggested in this latest rumor for the upcoming movie.

The Fantastic Four reboot is slated to open in theaters on June 19, 2015
