MTV has released a new preview clip for Guardians of the Galaxy which gives us an extended look at the scene where Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) is confronted by Korath the Pursuer (Djimon Hounsou). It's not much more than what we saw in the first trailer but still worth a watch.

The movie is being directed by James Gunn and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, Benicio del Toro, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, Gregg Henry and the voices of Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel. The first trailer will be part of the coming attractions, starting this Friday and will premiere on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday night (11:35 ET/PT), with a special introduction by star Chris Pratt. Look for it to be released on August 1, 2014.
