Last week there was an announcement that director Edgar Wright and Marvel had split ways over creative differences for the upcoming Ant-Man movie which will star Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas. Supposedly the split was said to be amicable between both parties but now it would seem due to a recent Tweet by the Director that is not necessarily the case. According to the folks over at
GeekTyrant, Wright this weekend posted and then deleted this photo of silent film star Buster Keaton holding a Cornetto ice cream bar with the caption "Selfie."
The photo is said to represent Keaton’s comments from 1928 after he gave up his independent film career and signed on with MGM Studios, which he said was the biggest mistake of his career,
"I made the worst mistake of my career. Against my better judgment I let Joe Schenck talk me into giving up my own studio to make pictures at booming Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer lot in Culver City."
