Scott Derrickson To Direct 'Doctor Strange' For Marvel

Scott Derrickson let everyone know he will helming Marvel's Doctor Strange by sending a tweet today of himself with a copy of Marvel's Doctor Strange and the remark, "My next movie will be STRANGE." The project is being produced by Marvel’s Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Lee, and Stephen Broussard are executive producers.

Stan Lee and Steve Ditko created the character in 1963 as a neurosurgeon who serves as the Sorcerer Supreme protecting Earth against magical and mystical threats with powers of sorcery, mysticism, and martial arts.
