Jeremy Renner Comments About 'Hawkeye' And 'Captain America 3'

Jay Cochran - August 26, 2014
Directors Joe Russo and Anthony Russo are currently getting the script together for Captain America 3 and Jeremy Renner has commented to Collider that his character of Hawkeye might have a supporting role in the next movie.

"There are rumblings of Captain America 3. I don’t know what’s going to happen there. I’ve got to find the time, man (laughs). I’m trying to stay home and I can’t."

There’s no guarantee that Renner will be in Captain America 3, but if Renner is saying there are "rumblings" with regards to his upcoming schedule. We'll have to wait and see. Nothing has been said by Marvel, the directors or the writers of the third Captain America movie but a change in the script might be needed and additional characters may just be the thing they are looking for.
