According to Variety actor Robert Downey Jr. is very close to signing on for the 3rd installment of Captain America as billionaire Tony Stark, AKA Iron Man. The article goes on to say that Marvel is planning on bringing the Civil War storyline which was a big comic book cross over event a couple of years ago where Tony Stark and Steve Rogers faced off against one-another along with an army of super heroes on both sides over a difference in opinions about a government sponsored Super Hero Registration Act. Of course in the end the two made up and all was right with the Marvel Universe, but not before Steve Rogers was shot an killed only to be brought back from the dead a year later.

This comes on the heels of a teaser announcement from Marvel about doing another Civil War comic series next summer in 2015.

What do you think, would the Civil War storyline translate well on the big screen?
