Marvel Studios Pulling A No-Show At San Diego Comic-Con 2015?!?

Could the studio that provides one of the biggest draws for the San Diego Comic Con be planning a no-show this year? Well according to Guardians of the Galaxy Director James Gunn, that is exactly what they plan to do. In a recent impromptu Q&A held on his Facebook page, the director stated when asked if he would be attending SDCC this year the following:

"I'm not sure. Marvel isn't going so I'm not sure I will either."

While Marvel movies are certainly big enough nowadays that they really don't need an event like the biggest Comic-Con in the world to garner attention, it would be a major turn of events for them not to be there at all, and likely a serious let down to many fans who attend. We will keep you posted as more details come to surface on this.
