The Box Office Lightsaber Is Passed From Star Wars To Marvel

President of Lucasfilm Kathleen Kennedy posted this congratulations on Twitter to Marvel Studio President Kevin Feige for taking the opening box office record this weekend with Avengers: Infinity War. The previous domestic record holder had been Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Avengers Infinity War broke both the domestic and global opening box office record with a total take of $640.9 million dollars.
