Comcast Makes Plans To Beat Out Disney For Fox Purchase!

Jay Cochran - May 23, 2018
The final fate of the X-Men and Fantastic Four may not be sealed just yet. According to the WSJ, the cable giant Comcast has made public their plans to make a cash bid to buy the bulk of 21st Century Fox assets which includes Marvel's X-Men and Fantastic Four. The amount Comcast plans to offer is said to be more than the previous $52.4 billion all-stock offer made by Disney. The report also indicates that a major Fox shareholder is urging the board to pursue the offer with Comcast, casting even more doubt on the Disney/Fox merger which seemed almost certain a few months ago. While a lot of different things could end up happening, it seems quit possible what we will see is an all-out bidding war for Fox between Disney and Comcast.
