Actor Tom Holland (Perter Parker/Spider-Man) posted this series of images to his personal Instagram page showing images of himself Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man/Tony Stark) last night. I am not entirely sure what the message he is trying to send here, but perhaps its meant to be a single that all hope is not lost for Spider-Man remaining in the MCU.
This week reports have been coming out that negotiations between Sony who currently holds the rights to Marvel's Spider-Man and Disney who owns Marvel had fallen apart, and that Spider-Man would no longer be part of the overall Marvel Cinematic Universe. It also meant Sony would know longer receive input from Marvel for their own Marvel based movies.

Haven't heard anything, Feige and Holland's comments at D23 seems to suggest it is over

could it be from them working on DR Dolittle? I believe Holland is signed on for that
but I hope they have managed some sort of deal with sony
RDJ is returning as the new MCU Spider-Man
There's a man with a deer's head in the picture in the back. They're trying to tell us Bojack Norseman(Beta Ray Bill)is coming to the MCU. Clearly.

IDK about 7 movie, but these images almost def suggest some kind of arrangement has been reached. As I figured all this was being played out in the public eye as a negotiating tactic and prob for publicity to.
