Falcon And The Winter Soldier Set Photos Give Us First Full Look At MCU USAgent - SPOILERS

Jay Cochran - January 22, 2020
Several months ago we got a look at some concept art for Wyatt Russell's USAgent outfit that will be featured in the upcoming Disney+ Falcon And The Winter Soldier series. Well now new on-set photos have surfaced online which give us a look at Russell as John Walker in the full USAgent uniform, holding Cap's shield no less.

Unfortunately the outfit is still blue as opposed to black as seen in the comics but otherwise it seems to do a solid job of capturing the look of the character. I definitely love how they designed the star on his chest so it also looks like an "A" for Agent.

In the original comic book story USAgent actually became Captain America for awhile and then eventually took on the USAgent identity. Perhaps the suit will start off blue and eventually will be turned black when (We assume Falcon) takes back the Captain America shield. Either way this is the new Marvel series on Disney+ I am most excited for and hope USAgent's adventures in the MCU will extend well beyond this series.

Actors can afford to work out 2x a day for like 4-6 hrs & they do have the best nutritionist & trainers in the world helping them get ready for a superhero role like 6 months prior. No roids are needed for that. And as far as those 2 actors are concerned, they have always been serious about their physical app & nutrition as majority of the roles they sign up for are physical based. Evans was in great shape when he was playing the Human Torch over 15yrs ago, he just got more muscular to play Cap. Finn made for a Godawful Ironfist due to his frail physique, couldn't take him seriously as being one of the finest human combatants on the planet. This guy playing US Agent just doesn't seem to have undergone a 3 month physical conditioning workout, let alone a 6 month routine. Maybe the Marvel TV show budget doesn't allow for it?

I mean, you're right about the scheduling and support. "Getting in shape" often becomes their full-time job between movies. But it's pretty much an open secret that it often includes at the very least a limited steroid regimen, too, especially if they're 35+ and/or have a light frame that doesn't lend to bulking.

"Regardless, you saying there was not acasting call of actors that at least came close to if not to the physical stats .in all of Hollywood..."

You bring up a good point. Its shocking how sloppy and careless they can be with casting. One of those is casting actors who are supposed to be related, yet wind up with kids that look nothing like the parents. Also infuriating is the easy fix they refuse to make. Barry Allen has blonde hair, not brown; simple dye would take care of that. Are you telling me there are no actors even close to the Iron Fist character, that they had to go withsome refugee from a 90lb weakling comic ad?

Bulking up is not easy, depending on your genetic makeup, somegrow fast, some grow slow and some are in between, and also schedule andsleep playshuge role in it, for example, there weremany reports that claimed Pattinson had trouble bulking up for the Batman role, and I can bet he has the best nutritionist and trainers.

Why not, Spidey goes swinging around in red/blue tights, as do Bats & Superman. Bats is a "tough" guy. And Logan can sport the 80s Brown suit, doesn't have to be the classic 1st app look. Justa buncha excuses imo. If a movie is based on comic superheroes that wear spandex costumes , then if they're gonna bring it to life, they should stay as close as possible to the source material, modify it a bit for the big screen but keep it as close to the comic look as possible. Tired of blue jeans /tank top Logan who's a foot bigger than the character should be.

Not ever costume would translate to the Silver Screen. They tried giving Logan his Batman mask back when X-men was being developed and it looked ridiculous. Maybe with new material it could happen. Also Height and that is largely irrelevant in movies since it is an alternate universe, Logan has been taller in other AU's already.

Well its still tv show more expensive but still tv show, so he isnt paid as much to bulk as much as Evans of Hemsworth, this can be really hard when take into account how full is actors schedule, thats one of the reason why Chris Evans and Hugh Jackman were happy to stop playing their superhero roles, even with steroids you need a lot of time and exercise + nutrition to get good body.

I would probably see Logan going around as Logan and not in costume. Firstly actor recognition and second it is hard to really justify a tough guy running around in a yellow and blue Batman costume.

Many actors have played more iconic characters than Wolverine, Superman/Batman/Spiderman for example. And I'm pretty sure there are a few under 5'10 that can pull off Wolverine. Question for me is, will we ever see him in either of his iconic comic costumes or is it always gonna be civilian attire Logan. And can they make the claws a bit shorter & less knife/blade looking. They should be circular with points at the end.
