So the current Venom is an anti hero. Morbius looks like he will be the same. Now this with Kraven. And Sony wonders why they can't figure out the formula for a good Marvel movie without Marvel Studios help.

Yeah, but Venom and Morbius are already established anti-heroes in the comics, unlike Kraven

Its possible the word is being used as a stand-in for antagonist.

Some younger fans may not be able to comprehend a time when movies/tv shows based on comic book characters were few and far between, and the ones that were out there, were generally held in low regard by producers/actors/fans; juvenile, silly plots, poor production value, etc. One of the main reasons was that studios that took on these characters would churn out crap, lose money and move on.They just didn't understand, or care to understand them or the genre. You can see it with the Star Trek franchise, can definitely see it in the first Batman ('89) series. I wonder if sony is headed down that road with kraven. Do they just not care that he is the villain??

Oh Sony, just give up already. The same actor who played a character who was being hunted by raptors because he stole them for selfish reasons is now hunting the hunter. Oh how ironic.

I still got hope for this movie. But he better be a villain when or if he ever meets Spiderman.
