I won't argue with you there. Any one in particular you'd like to see take on that role?
This movie just keeps looking lovely, I am enjoying the vibe being very different from anything in the MCU thus far, Shala Bal Surfer is cool for me as well, like it's an alt universe, and there have been tons of Heralds, they can still get Norrin in the MCU at another point, I can't wait to finally see Galactus, I mean so far it looks like they did him pretty accurate, Also is it just me or did they make Ben's voice gruffer in this trailer? I felt like he sounded softer in the first trailer, and I wasn't sure about the voice, but now I'm thinking it's pretty good.

Liking how it looks. This might be the first MCU movie I see in a long time
This looks FANTASTIC :V
Puns aside, I really like how everything looks. I feel like the stache is "era" appropriate, I don't really mind it. Wasn't sure of Quinn as Johnny but he's pulling it off marvelously.
I really like how the Silver Surfer looks and talks... I'm curious to see how they tell the story and how it gets to where I think it might or if it goes somewhere else. It's exciting, it's a great year to be an MCU fan!
I do like the trailer and general atmosphere and tone this movie is building. Silver Surfer almost looks like unfinished CGI model, maybe it will look better in the movie. Speaking of CGI, to me it seems like Human Torch flame effects are almost identical to 2005-2007 movies.

It gives them motivation to continue to be heroes ( guilt after losing their Earth), it sets them up to encounter Norrin Radd here in a different light, and it waaaay ups the threat of Galactus too.Hey, Thanos won first too, before he lost for good. Seeing Galactus eat the Earth would seriously up the stakes going forward. They will do the Surfer right the next time we see him.
I hadn't considered that but reading this I really hope that you are right. It's a good reason to get the FF to the main MCU universe and a way to keep norrin radd and Galactus in their pocket for future use

I am glad Dr. Doom is not the main villain. We have already seen him in every Fantastic Four movie. Let him rest, sit back, and let the light shine on other FF's Rogues Gallery members. Galactus is an excellent choice. However, maybe I would have saved him for the sequel and instead use one of their lesser-known villains such as Mole-man, first. But, I am not complaining because we finally have a correct comic-accurate Galactus. The 2007 version of Galactus was comic accurate. But, it was the wrong comic-accurate.
Not a fan of Shalla-Bal being the Silver Surfer, though. Again, we have 2 female heralds of Galactus. Couldn't they have used Frankie Raye or Stardust, a character whose appearance confuses even the writers that they have used both male and female pronouns. So, Stardust could have been written as genderfluid here.

I was thinking along these lines: seeing them set up the Avengers' Doomsday plot and considering the trailer shows some serious damage to what seems to be Earth's surface, I gotta assume they lose here.
