During CinemaCon, Shawn Levy, the director of Deadpool and Wolverine, informed
Screen Rant that despite Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as Deadpool, the upcoming Marvel film will not bear the title Deadpool 3.
“As far as crafting the Deadpool and Wolverine story, I just felt privileged every day because you’re talking about two massive movie stars in their most iconic roles,” Levy told Screen Rant during CinemaCon. “It also gave me an opportunity. It’s the third Deadpool movie, but it’s not Deadpool 3. It’s a different thing that’s very much Deadpool and Wolverine. And it’s not trying to copycat anything from the first two movies. They were awesome, but this is a two-hander character adventure.”
Deadpool & Wolverine is scheduled to make its debut in cinemas on July 26, 2024. Directed by Levy, the movie was co-written by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, Reynolds, and Levy.

I have been this excited for a Marvel movie in a long time. I'll definitely be watching this one in theaters. While I agree with some of the other comments about the overuse of the multiverse, I think that this movie won't be taking itself too serious and can put it to good use. Can't wait to see it!

This is the only movie I'm planning on seeing in the movie theater this whole calendar year. It should be great!
In terms of figures, this may be our best chance to get any version of Cassandra Nova. I really only buy movie figures when there's never been a comic version of the character made, so Cassandra Nova is likely the only one that I'd want unless they went crazy and made a Blind Al, Vanessa/Copycat or Yukio, which all seem unlikely -- but hey, who knows as they did give us Negasonic Teenage Warhead before, and that was before it was part of the MCU proper.

Oh god, yes, after so many years of underwhelming movies, had some hope with the last Strange, but that's it...
Awesome! And the yellow costume never looked so good! It feels really good to be excited for an MCU film again!

Oh yeah, gonna have to watch the movie a few times to catch all the insane Easter Eggs like that one.
I know it's been said but, Let's effin' Go!
I have such high hopes for this movie, love what I'm seeing here, and the fact the last 2 DP movies were so amazing, I just have nothing but skyhigh expectations for this, so it better not let me down.

Seeing Hugh as Wolverine again is .... can't find the right word at the moment, but I love that we're seeing him in this iconic role one more time. And I just love the suit, especially the sleeveless one.

This is is going to be a huge multiverse romp bringing all the best parts of the multiverse to the forefront for the future of the MCU. Hopefully that mean a complete reset where all the major players X-Men, Avengers, FF and the Knights are all together again. All except Spidey who just so happens to be the biggest and most dependable property in Marvel. But at least they have Sony's cooperation with that one. Between this and X-Men '97 I am starting to like what I see from the MCU again. Then again there is that entire Fantastic Four grenade that is about to drop so I guess we will have to just wait and see.
BTW did anyone else catch that Liefeld's Just Feet in the background?

I really wonder when we'll see them. Preorders in the spring usually works out to a release in late summer/ early fall.
Remember that wasp giant man set shipped as soon as it went up, could be looking at the same thing. Didn't this movie get delayed? If so they probably have been ready and could ship as soon as we see them.
