Marvel Studios has announced the first official teaser trailer for the upcoming Fantastic Four movie will launch tomorrow (2/4) at 7am ET. For now check out this teaser for the teaser trailer.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 25, 2025.
Absolutely loved the movie. As I said in another thread, this felt like a Comic book movie to me. Most other MCU is a what if they lived in our world. I love the moment when Reed Should lie, trying not to spoil here, and Pedro plays it perfect. No hesitation or conflict on his face. He didn't even consider lying. All my doubts about casting and character change were proven wrong. I don't wanna get too excited, but this might be my favorite MCU movie so far.

I plan on seeing it 4 times (pun intended), and I am bringing one of my Walgreens-exclusive Marvel Legends with me. So far, I have seen it twice, and I love it. The cast perfectly nails the family dynamic, feeling like an actual family, not just a family by choice. Not one member overshadows the other. The way Galactus is defeated feels like a team effort. The movie delves into the others' hidden depths. Such as Ben piloting the ship. Johnny being less than a womanizer, amongst other non-spoiler moments, and Sue showing her comic counterpart's full potential.
Just came back from seeing this movie, And I loved it, it felt very retro, felt vibey, The actors all did the characters quite well, they had a nice amount of development, I liked the story, I liked the pace, as a whole it was a nice movie, didn't feel like anything too high level in the action department, but enough, and the emotional moments were great, I liked the tone of this, it really felt like something totally different then the normal MCU product.

They really nailed the group dynamics here. A lot of heart in this one.

Treat the characters with sincerity, with respect.......and the audience will accept them. It's a no brainer.
Agreed!
And btw, after seeing this movie I was, indeed, ok with it. If you haven't seen the movie yet, this one does actually deal with the characters with sincerity for sure.
I mean yeah. This line would die on the vine without the a-listers. Thats not really unreasonable.
Retailers arent rushing to stock a Marvel line consisting of characters most people have never heard of.

I agree, and would add this kind of attitude or "fear" pertains to action figure producers as well...which is why they stick with the same characters over and over, and why they warp and change costumes and especially female characters. True, not every thing on the comic page translates to the screen or plastic form, but as you say: done ACCURATELY, RESPECTFULLY to the source material... the audience will accept it.

Ya know this constant, "look how dumb (Cap, Hawkeye, Luke Cage, Scarlett Witch, ect) would look if they were in their actual costumes!!?" Ha ha ha! You dumb a$$ comic book reader. Wouldn't it be stupid if the character said their catch phrase? Be like Taika and make fun of Thor fans wanting to hear him say. "I Say Thee Nay" for an entire movie full of much cooler goat jokes. I'm just sick of the implication that I, the paying customer and forever fan, am stupid for liking the character. Now, it's pretty clear that he's gonna say it at some point, so after I see the movie I might be OK with it. But overall I need them to knock this off in general. If they change and tweak storylines and looks, I get it. Just don't take shots at the source material and in doing so fans for liking that material.

Pedro is a great actor though so I have faith, I just really don't like the mustache. Either go clean shaven or full beard.
I also think another actor should have been cast, and also not a fan of the mustache. But now I must be getting some kind of OCD....'cause I really want some part of his turtle neck to have white in it like the others! LOL I know...it sounds nuts but I keep wanting to get some white paint and do at least the collar.
