Marvel Cinematic Universe Captain America The First Avenger Costum Added To Square Enix Avengers Game

All great points and I agree, the Ultimate Alliance games offered variety in everything from levels to enemies and while there was the element of grinding it never felt overwhelming. I jumped at the chance to play those games again when they became available on PSN. really a shame they shut them down so quickly.

Square Enixs Avengers campaign is actually fun. If you play only the campaign its relatively short and while it is still the same robots the levels are easy and quick to play through. Plus if you skipped everything else youd never know how many times youd be fighting the same enemies over and over in the other modes.

I was always curious about this game and a buddy randomly got it on sale and loved it and persuaded me to try it out via game pass. I was very impressed with the visuals, sound design, environments, etc... and for a few hours I actually enjoyed myself. But just couldnt get passed all the grinding and samey everything to get anywhere.

Also interesting note, I always thought that gamestop exclusive gamerverse hulk had a factory error with his oversized right bicep, but apparently that is how he looks in the game, however somehow his pectorals are just fine being symmetrical even tho they arent in the game. Just weird.

I heard about the chance to grind and get that Iron Man3 skin so thought what the heck, Ill jump in and see. The goal is ridiculous, earn 100 shipments to obtain armor. Or buy using 500 units. Well I blew through the units I already had with no luck so I was forced to grind.

And. It. sucks.. fight robot and repeat add nauseum. Scrap for little reward and high frustration.

Ive worried from the first released pics about Square Enixs take on classic Suits. What a failure. The MCU skins should have been there from the start.

Really wish they allowed a free roam area outside of the hellicarrier just to be able to do SOMETHING with the great characters

I have only heard bad things about the game but it always intrigued me in some way being a marvel fan. I dont mind games as a service models but I feel like this game just didnt do it any justice. Their costume designs were just their own made up bs with very little inspiration from the comics. I was at least expecting some form of classic familiar costumes you could unlock for all that bs grinding to get them. Im all for beat em up games where you mindlessly beat up the same characters but this was just to the extreme even hours into it. I wanted to see the rest of the game but it just felt so dang bloated that i had to suffer the same thing over and over for hours before i saw something new. I ll take a marvel ultimate alliance or even xmen legends over this anyday. At least then Id see a new boss and can enjoy multiple characters at my leisure.

I couldnt even put a dent in this game before abandoning ship. It helped me fall asleep though.
