It's amazing how the games do a better job of moving Spider-Man's narrative forward without compromising what made the character loveable than the comics have done in the last 30+ years (god that made me feel old). Clone Sagas, The Other,One More Day, Superior Spider-Man, Spider Island (blaargh), it's not a hard story to tell, he fights bad guys, makes quips, takes photos, and goes home to MJ...

Time to reinvent the wheel again and again
More and more reasons why I dropped Spider-Man so very long ago. I wish them luck, though. But clone Spidey or body swapped Spidey or whatever else they scrape up, is just not my cup of tea.
Great to see Ben back as Spidey and back to being a hero after Slott derailed him.
That off center logo bugs me...
Ben Reilly is back? Did he leave after the last time he came back?
How many times does that make now? What is this guy, the Stones?
That's a wrinkle. I thought the formula was going to be "something happens to Peter -> Ben becomes Spider-Man" but now it's going to be "Ben becomes Spider-Man-> something happens to Peter?"
I also think it's interesting they're not relaunching the title. Makes me feel like this change won't be quite a status quo but just for a storyline. Still, fun to see Ben being used again after being stranded in comic book limbo to the point Cantwell used him for his wacky ragtag team of heroes in Iron Man.
This sounds like Superior 2, and after we just got done getting Spider-Man back on track. Modern Ben Reilly sucks.

Now this is a Spider-Man variation that I would like to see Hasbro make for Marvel Legends.
Ben's back as Spider-man! I grew up reading Ben's Spidey and enjoyed it. Though so far I'm guessing this will be an alternate reality.
