Neat gimmick, going 85 years into the Future....

This anniversary special doesn't take place 85 years into the future. It takes place in the 85th century, which is approximately 8200 years into the future.

Neat gimmick, going 85 years into the Future....I sure wish hasbo legends would use this 85th anniversary to dip 85 years into the PAST, so we could get some Golden Age figures. First appearance Sub-Mariner, Human Torch, Cap and Bucky are no-brainers (come on, they REALLY did Bucky wrong back during that Brood wave!) but what about

The Destroyer! Blazing Skull! Original Vision! Red Raven!

How you gonna pass up Miss America, the Whizzer, Namora or the Fin?

And then there's the bad guys like the Red Skull, Isbisa, Asbestos Lady, Armless Tiger Man??

I mean come on...they did Crystar out of the blue. No reason why we shouldn't get some Golden Age goodness.

Some of these can be fun. Still think 85 is a strange anniversary to be celebrating

Hurmph.

I like most of the characters on that cover, and if it means Alan Davis is drawing Cap Britain and/or Excalibur again, I may be in.
