A Lineup Of Unbelievable Marvel/DC Team-Ups Await In Deadool/Batman #1

June 20, 2025
Announced last month, Marvel’s Merc with a Mouth meets DC’s Dark Knight this September in MARVEL/DC: DEADPOOL/BATMAN #1, a Marvel/DC crossover more than twenty years in the making!
The main story starring Deadpool and Batman will be written by Zeb Wells and drawn by industry superstar Greg Capullo. The one-shot will also feature additional backup stories spotlighting other exciting Marvel and DC team-ups from a lineup of all-star talent, including Daredevil and Green Lantern by Kevin Smith and Adam Kubert, Captain America and Wonder Woman by Chip Zdarsky and Terry Dodson, and Jeff the Land Shark and Krypto by Kelly Thompson and Gurihiru. Each story will be reflected by its own variant cover. Today, fans can check out the Daredevil/Green Lantern Cover by acclaimed Daredevil artist Marco Checchetto and the Jeff the Land Shark/Krypto cover by Gurihiru. Plus, feast your eyes on an epic wraparound variant cover by Capullo.
“We’re going to all corners of the Marvel and DC Universes, and the creators are having an absolute blast finding the unexpected and unexplored connections between these characters,” Editor Mark Basso shared. “We can’t wait for the fans to experience the same jaw-dropping moments we are! And we’ve got some more secret stories in the works, so keep your eyes peeled for more to be revealed!”
“This has been surreal to say the least!” Zdarsky said. “Captain America and Wonder Woman are the best their worlds have to offer, both warriors for peace. Getting to explore a dynamic and history between them has been genuinely exciting."
"Two ICONS meeting for the first time!” Thompson said. “It's such an honor for Jeff to get to be Marvel's ambassador in this crossover story with Krypto. Anyone who loves comics knows how rare it is for DC and Marvel to crossover, so Jeff getting to be part of this historic moment with Krypto, and Gurihiru and I getting to bring that tale to readers... well, sometimes this job is very cool."

no. That is a whole other kettle of fish.

There's currently no domestic companies producing 6" scale DC figures so maybe it's a possibility?

Maybe they could do deal with Mattel to do a Marvel Vs DC wave next year.

DC and Marvel teaming up....in the year 2025, I'm intrigued, and I quite enjoy the idea of Deadpool annoying Batman...I'd read this just to see what this gets up to.
doesn't help I'm a secret DP stan, and I totally love when Wade does these collabo comics and generally bugs other heroes.

Both companies most overused characters in one book. Still, sounds interesting

I love some Greg Capullo art but the Dan Mora cover is cooler. As far as writing they got a Wells vs Morrison. How's that any kind of fair trade? Advantage DC again. Still might be some real fun. Can't say it doesn't at least sound interesting.

I assume one of the unnamed creators will be Mark Millar because he has been teasing a DC Marvel Crossover project he says he has been working on for over a week on his FB page.
