In a surprising spoiler of events,
Entertainment Weekly broke the news about what was going to be announced during Marvel's Agent Carter panel before the panel even was presented.
The ABC drama will be seeing 10 episodes, instead of 8 this season and Agent Carter will be heading out to Los Angeles.
"It’s 1947, so it's six months after the [first season] ended," executive producer Michele Fazekas said.
"Things are different. We’ll see people are in different positions. Not everyone is in New York anymore. There’s some history we’re not quite sure of. Some people are not talking to each other anymore."
1947 is the same year as the Black Dahlia Murder and hanks to the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), she’ll be handling a case that the LAPD just can’t crack. In addition to James D’Arcy (Edwin Jarvis) and Enver Gjokaj (Daniel Sousa) returning, Chad Michael Murray (Jack Thompson) officially inked for season 2. Jarvis will join Agent Carter on her exploits in LA. Thompson takes over SSR in New York, but not the whole org.
The ABC drama is set to introduce Jarvis’ (James D’Arcy) wife. The role has not yet been cast. Also in store for the second season is the introduction of one (or several) new love interests for Peggy.
“Peggy has put Steve’s memory to rest and has a couple of new opportunities,” Fazekas said.
