TV Guide reports that actress Amy Acker (Person of Interest, Angel, Dollhouse) will be appearing on an upcoming episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Audrey, who is a cellist has been previously referenced as being the love of Phil Coulson's (Clark Gregg) life.

The cellist, who had remained nameless until now, was mentioned in a previous S.H.I.E.L.D. episode when Raina (Ruth Negga) tricked Coulson into admitting his former long-distance girlfriend had cried for days after his death in New York during the Avengers movie.

TV Guide describes the story for the as-of-yet untitled episode with Acker as follows:

A talented musician turning heads in Portland, Audrey believes Coulson to be dead and has no idea that he's guarding her from a distance as a super-powered threat from her past re-emerges.

The episode is slated to air on ABC Tuesday, April 22.
