Marvel today announced that actor Brian Patrick Wade ("Generation Kill," "Teen Wolf") has been cast to play Carl "Crusher" Creel in an upcoming episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. In the comics Creel also goes by the name of The Absorbing Man who is a super-villian with the ability to turn his skin into the same material of anything he touches, powers he derived from Asgardian magic.
Creel will appear in the season 2 opener which debuts on the ABC network on September 23 at 9:00PM ET.
