Adrianne Palicki & Nick Blood Up For S.H.I.E.L.D. Spin-Off Series?!?

Jay Cochran - April 21, 2015
Deadline is reporting that Adrianne Palicki & Nick Blood who are currently featured on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series as Agent Bobbi Morse aka Mockingbird and her mercenary ex-husband Lance Hunter are being considered for a S.H.I.E.L.D. spin-off series.

The new series is said to be developed by S.H.I.E.L.D. executive producer Jeffrey Bell and co-executive producer Paul Zbyszewski, who are writing the script and would executive produce.

If ABC were to greenlight the new series it us possible that it could run concurrently with S.H.I.E.L.D. or possibly to serve as a bridge between the fall and spring portions of the season like we saw this year with the Agent Carter series which is also still being considered for a second season.

While I personally don't dislike Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., general feedback we see from readers about the show often times tends to be lukewarm at best, making it hard for us to imagine the franchise is popular enough to really warrant a second series, but I guess that is why we don't make the big bucks like the network executives do.
