Outsiders - May 04, 2017

The first image of the Royal Family from Marvel's Inhumans comes from Entertainment Weekly, Marvel Entertainment and ABC. Besides the image, showrunner Scott Buck discusses the series, the characters and how this show will be different from current Superhero shows that are on the air. Bred by an alien race to be a warrior caste and possessing alien DNA, the Inhumans exist as humans possessed of incredible and otherworldly powers when exposed to the substance known as Terrigen. Living secretly, for the most part, among their fellow man, the Inhumans forge their own destiny as a separate society and sometimes even Earth’s protectors. The Royal Family of the Inhumans guides their people as well as sets standards and laws by which they live.

Black Bolt will be played by Anson Mount, Medusa will be played by Serinda Swan, Maximus will be played by Iwan Rheon, Karnak will be played by Ken Leung, Gorgon will be played by Eme Ikwuakor, Crystal will be played by Isabelle Cornish, Triton will be played by Mike Moh, Auran will be played by Sonya Balmores, the mysterious character will be played by Ellen Woglom and Lockjaw will play himself.

Marvel’s Inhumans is executive produced by Scott Buck (Dexter, Marvel’s Iron Fist) along with Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Luke Cage) and Jim Chory (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Luke Cage), with Buck serving as showrunner. Roel Reine (Admiral, Black Sails) will direct the first two episodes. The series is co-produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios.

The series will debut its first two episodes in IMAX on Friday, September 1st, followed by the full eight-episode series on ABC this fall.
