Straight from its debut at San Diego Comic-Con, the new trailer for "The Gifted" Season 2 is here!
Season 1 ended with Polaris (Emma Dumont) joining forces with Esme (Skyler Samuels) and her sisters, leaving the Mutant Underground and embracing a harsher ideology when it comes to mutants vs. humans - with Andy Strucker (Percy Hynes White) among those who decided to accompany them.
Watch the new Season 2 trailer above to see Polaris' powers seemingly growing stronger, magnified by the influence of her unborn child. We also get our first new look at Inner Circle leader Reeva (Grace Byers), see Thunderbird (Blair Redford) lashing out, and glimpse a notable encounter between Andy and his sister, Lauren (Natalie Alyn Lind), who chose to stay with the Mutant Underground.
"The Gifted" Season 2 premieres Tuesday, September 25 on FOX. Check out the posters below, which were distributed at San Diego Comic-Con, each showing two "Gifted" characters overlapped.
I have yet to finish watching season 1, only saw a couple of episodes which were good. I feel this series captured the sense of intolerance and discrimination more than any other live action X-men project.
I still haven't seen season 1 yet, I have heard good reviews for it. When I get some spare time I will binge watch it. It's good to see the gifted get a second season.
I know I tend to be out of the loop, but Ive never even heard of this show... But, if Polaris is a part of it, as an X-Factor fan, I may have to check it out.
