canceled three of their Marvel based shows with Daredevil, Iron fist
only leaving Jessica Jones
with their fates unknown on the streaming service. The other day
there were indications that a second season of Punisher would air on Netflix early next year, but most people suspect both Punsher and Jones' days are numbered on the popular streaming service.
Most suspect the cancellations of these popular Marvel shows on Netflix are a result of Disney looking to move them over to their own streaming service which is set to debut in 2019. According to a new report from Variety
however, it looks like if Disney brings those shows over, it won't happen for at least two years.
According to the Variety's report there is a clause in the Disney/Netflix
contracts that says any characters from Defenders
based Netflix shows are prohibited from appearing in any non-Netflix series or film for at least two years after cancellation. This would not include Punisher
which was not part of the original "Defenders" group of characters.

Aww, come on now. I'm sure the suit and tie guys can put their heads together and come up with some kind of deal.
I don't see how. There's no amount of money that Disney could pay Netflix that would get them to allow them around that clause and use characters on a streaming service that is in direct competition with Netflix early.
Aww, come on now. I'm sure the suit and tie guys can put their heads together and come up with some kind of deal. The Defenders are just getting off the ground and now this? Give a geek a break already. Netfix schmetflix.
I thought it was a mock picture from the thumbnail. Because Luke Cage arm and chest look like a butt. Like they're all standing around the butt.

This sucks. I was really hoping for a Daredevil/Spider-Man team-up. I want to see Iron Fist fight alongside Iron Man.
