Netflix announces that the final season of Marvel's Jessica Jones, the groundbreaking, award-winning series about a New York City private investigator with incredible strength, will launch on Friday, June 14. All 13 episodes will be released to Netflix members globally on this date.

About Season 3: When Jessica (Krysten Ritter) crosses paths with a highly intelligent psychopath, she and Trish (Rachael Taylor) must repair their fractured relationship and team up to take him down. But a devastating loss reveals their conflicting ideas of heroism and sets them on a collision course that will forever change them both.

The series is executive produced by showrunner Melissa Rosenberg (Dexter) and Jeph Loeb (Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's Jessica Jones, Marvel's Luke Cage) who also serves as Marvel's Head of Television. Marvel's Jessica Jones is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix.

Season three cast also features Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix Trilogy), Eka Darville (Empire), Benjamin Walker (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter), Jeremy Bobb (Russian Doll), Sarita Choudhury (Homeland), Tiffany Mack (Hap and Leonard), Jessica Frances Dukes (The Good Wife), Aneesh Sheth (New Amsterdam) and Rebecca DeMornay (The Hand that Rocks the Cradle).

Much as I'd love to see Jess run through the exact same character arch she's gone through since season one (gets drunk, gets snarky, has meaningless sex, acts like a !@#$%, repeat), I dumped Netflix in favor of Hulu Live about a week ago.

Sometimes not even heroes can save themselves. Marvel's Jessica Jones Season 3 which will be the final season on Netflix begins June 14th.

Cancelled or not, if I actually thought they'd do something interesting with it I'd be all over it.

JJ is moody, JJ gets plastered, JJ acts like a b***h. Wash, rinse, repeat.

It's tough maintaining my interest in a show where the main character's character arch is a flat line. Still, it's far better than any of the cother comic-based shows on TV, AOS not withstanding, I'll watch it.

I'm gonna watch it. Loved the first two seasons!

Of course the real question with all the Netflix shows canceled and this being the final season, does anyone actually care?

That was brutally honest. I don't think I know someone that does.

I liked the first Jessica Jones, the second one was kind of whacky. I'm interested to see what they have this time and if we will see any note worthy Marvel characters. Thanks

Of course the real question with all the Netflix shows canceled and this being the final season, does anyone actually care?
