Sources from within have informed
Deadline that Rafael Casal is joining the upcoming second season of Disney+’s Marvel series Loki for a major role.
Marvel declined to comment to sources but Casal’s casting started trickling out when a photo from the set of Season 2 leaked online. It features Casal walking alongside Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson, who are back, reprising their roles as anti-hero Loki and Mobius, respectively. Details about Casal’s character are being kept under wraps; online speculation includes a hypothesis that he could be playing Zaniac.
Loki is set in a Marvel Cinematic Universe-adjacent world, in which the God of Mischief is a fish-out-of-water when he lands in trouble with the bureaucratic TVA (Time Variance Authority) after absconding with the Tesseract. Loki is also the first Marvel series for Disney+ to get a second season.
Casal is credited with co-writing, producing, and starring in the 2018 movie Blindspotting. He went on to co-create, executive produce, act as showrunner and reprise his role from the movie in Starz’s Blindspotting series spinoff.

so interesting you felt that way, I loved Loki and found it to be one of my favourite D+ shows, I felt the opposite, I'm very excited to see what happens in the second season and thought the first one was excellent.

Zaniac sounds like an interesting character to add to this Show, makes sense, Dark Dimensions, Some Dormammu stuff, Posseing various people through time, cool, Jack the Ripper through the ages....hopfully no rampaging woman killing though.
