Iron Monger Build-A-Figure Confirmed For Iron Man 3 6" Legends Figures

Yesterday we told you the line-up for Hasbro's new first series of 6" Iron Man 3 Legends figures would include the following:

2x Classic Horned Iron Man
3x Heroic Age Iron Man
3x Iron Patriot

We also told you that it was a possibility that these figures would contain build-a-figure pieces to make the giant Iron Monger figure Hasbro teased to us all last summer at Comic-Con. Now thanks to Entertainment Earth we have confirmation for you that these figures will indeed contain those Build-A-Figure parts.

What is not entirely yet clear is if you will only need to buy the 3 figures in this wave to complete Iron Monger figure or if the pieces will be spread across multiple waves. The latter scenario seems more likely since I don't see how they could realistically fit all the pieces of one large figure into the packaging of just 3 regular 6" figures. We should learn more next month at the New York Toy Fair which we will be brining you full coverage of, so stay-tuned.
