So the answer to my question is that you DONT believe Disney will find an issue with it. Thanks.

I think Man-Ape is a super cool character and I love this custom. I made a similar one myself a couple years ago. Im just saying Disney and Hasbro are going to be painfully aware of the optics on that character and just avoid the classic look.

Yes I justdont believe they shouldnt make him just bc he wears ape deco. Thisunspoken insinuationthat hed beoffensive bcof that is idiotic, but Im aware of the clown show were living in so it wouldnt surprise me.

That is insanely good work. In fact, when I saw the thumbnail before reading the headline...I sincerely thought it was a new Hasbro announcement. Unfortunately due to the datedness of the role, I do think it's going to be difficult to get him made. Maybe as an internet exclusive? I mean, I can see how he couple potentially be viewed as problematic. Black man in a WHITE ape costume. In this climate, that's a rough sell. I mean same can be possibly said for classic Mandarin and Mephisto. But I'd def. buy one. Heck I'd buy them all.

Noice, but hard to see it in the ML, because of many reasons, if they didn't do it from the first BP movie where M'Baku is introduced, also it might become a very controversial figure ....

Sorry but that just sounds stupid to me. I dont wonder if they will get to him or not (Impositive they will as ML continues);I only questionif theyll identify him asMBaku, Man-Ape or both which who gives a crap honestly? Why wouldnt they make him in his classic, badass costume forMLif its cool forlego and video games and cartoons, etctodo it?Puh-lease.Its apart of who he is.

Sounds stupid because its true about Disney? Or sounds stupid because you dont think its true? I dont think Disney wants to put a black man in a gorilla suit in their premiere action figure line and I bet Hasbro is just as hesitant.

Also there will definitely be characters that never make it to the legends line. Marvel has over 1000 superheroes alone, to say nothing of at least as many villains, several dozen supporting characters that could be made, 40 thousand alternate costumes for Spidey, Wolvie, and Stark and multitudes of cosmic beings that are too large or too weird to make in plastic. But Ill stand corrected if they ever crank out a Walrus-Man or Eon BAF.

That's a badazz Man-Ape custom, best I've ever seen!

It would still be an African man dressed as a Gorilla. Disney wont touch that with a 10 foot pole.
