People missed this? was my thought, the first one was heating pegs up all over the town, not sure why they decided to re-do this one, it has a few minor tweaks but I could hardly imagine people screaming from the roof tops "we need that spider-man again", they also re-released this previously in the UK best of wave for whatever year that was. I also think hey you wanted to make this figure "better" why don't you paint some weblines and stop making your MCU Spider-Men figures look like basic figures hasbro, why can't you paint weblines? seen you do it before. I'm not saying that it was particularly hard to find, but for anyone who might have not purchased it the first time, they could do that now. I think that's the positive thing out of this re-release. Don't think it was that necessary to redo this one, but since it's advertised for the movie (and it's also in the movie) it was a good chance to get it better. It's also a movie with a lot of buzz around it and they can't give us a lot of characters right away and since this one especially, is a spoiler free figure, as far as design and accessories go and they had to release merch for the movie, I assume that was the easiest one to do. I definitely think that they didn't do their best with this one, but it's an upgrade in more ways than I first thought. That being said it's still a weak upgrade and I think that's really bad considering it's their second try on this suit. It also looks like the missing paint on the weblines is a new trend for the MCU spiderman figures, which absolutely SUCKS. Anyway, that's how I view this matter.
Saw this in SMYTHS today and still passed. Maybe if it gets reduced I might get it and a pen to colour in the lines

I don't see this figure as a re-release as much as its own release meant reflect the changes in the movie. I mean, they still should have painted the weblines, but just throwing that thought out there.
