I like the headsculpts on this one. The unmasked head is very much of the era for Secret Wars. I'm glad for the variety as most of the unmasked heads have the hair much bigger amd pointy. Which is fine for the 90s era... but especially circa Wolverines first limited series, his hair was more understated.

I'm digging the colors as well. Again, the variety and in this case nostalgia for the Mattel version.

Be nice to have a couple more waves in this subline

Heh.....I don't dislike it. I can see why people like the new head sculpt. It does more resemble the comic art. But I'm happy with the previous Brown and Yellow Wolvies. I really don't see the point of this one other than to take full advantage of the nostalgia aspect of the Secret Wars line. And that's great if that's your thing but it wasn't enough reason for me to buy another Wolverine. The main thing that I wonder about is why did they go back to the original ab crunch body model after the so called upgrade of the 80th anniversary Wolverine? I mean personally I'm a fan of the ab crunch for better range of motion but right now when the aesthetics seem to be taking precedence I thought the diaphragm model was the model of the future. Maybe it's just because that model also had the pointy shoulder pads. But I guess Hasbro didn't get the reputation as the King of Repaint/Redeco for no good reason. So maybe that mystery is no real mystery after all. Maybe it's just because Hasbro. You know?

Headsculpts are well done, finally we getting good Wolverine head sculpts but no matter how accurate colors are I still can't stand them so will be waiting for inevitable new pinless brown wolverine down the line.

I like that they made an effort to try an expression with the face.

I like the smirking face, I have tons of Wolverine heads, and he does smirk in a few famous panels.

Gotta have this for my Secret Wars display!! Not a fan of the smirk but I can look past it.

When I first saw this figure I was totally into it, as much as the Tiger Stripe costume is my fav look for Logan, there has always been something special about the Brown, I mean it works better in reality, Wolverines are not yellow and blue, this seemed like the near perfect Brown/Tan suit wolvie, still think it's pretty close but it's a bit bright, The one real thing about this figure is I hate that Head sculpt, just really don't like the Smirk, and I don't like the unmasked head either, something about that seems weird, maybe his face is too thin? I want this figure but I just wish I could find a head that I like to put on this because these heads are not it for me, So I'm not even sure I want this anymore, because I don't think I have an Alternative head to work on this.

I like this one. I have the vintage wave Orange and Tan, but I'm still going to get this

I think this should have come with a different head than the unmasked head--to counter the smirking portrait. Maybe a different grimace or snarling masked head, or something shouting. This feels like a deliberate misfire to hook nostalgic-minded fans into buying it for SW, but then later re-issuing the same Wolverine with corrections to land a second sale. Hasbro has done this sort of things before, maybe not with malice, but......well in hindsight it does kinda look like it now.....
