I really hope they reuse this mold for an Avengers/AOU era Hulk. We need a new one really bad at this point.

I saw Red Hulk at a Target. He looks pretty good. I'm hoping he'll go down a bit more on Amazon, but I will probably get him and Sam as well. Sam's down to 34 currently on Amazon. I got Falcon full price, and while I wish I had waited for a deal, I like that figure a ton!

Re: ML Red Hulk Review

Sharty back in the saddle again. Great review. He's always had a great eye for detail. He correctly points out this is NOT the same bod mold as the Totally Awesome Hulk and/or MCU Smart Hulk as many other reviewers keep saying. Not even the torso is the same. Also not sure what all the booshee is about having to heat the joints but mine were fine. Decent figure. Terrible face sculpt. Not sure if it was a bad likeness or the actor refusing to let them use their likeness. But if I have to bet I'd say there's some kind of Red Hulk/Leader 2 pack in the near future with a more accurate portrait.

Also I just realized something new. I hope someone on the decision making level or even the creative level notices that with this figures height and build this would be a great base for a Champion of the Universe figure with a few tweaks to the legs and feet. He's traditionally shown to be taller than the Hulk but quite a bit leaner. There are only a few characters taller than Hulk I think Sasquatch, Champion and Orka being the only ones that come to mind. This would be a perfect chance for Hasbro to do their thing and make good reuse out of a body mold.

They could totally reuse those wings for a TFATWS Falcon. I'd buy a deluxe of that suit.

DITTO!!! I love Sam as Cap, but maaaaan I really want that TFATWS suit. It's the perfect blend of comic and MCU for Falcon IMHO

I like TFATWS suit better than the upcoming movie suit too. I wished Marvel Studios kept it for the new movie.

These wing are only a slightly different version of TFATWS figure that came out for the show. They were baf parts, but the whole figure with the wings is on ebay for 40 bucks right now. He's really nice IMO. I've had him displayed since I got him a few yrs ago.

Better than the last MCU Sam Cap but in all honesty it was less than it could have been and actually right where I expected it to be. It did leave a bit of articulation on the table when compared to Joe Classified Raptor but at least they did enough so he could recreate the wing shield that is completely necessary for a character who lacks the Super Soldier serum like Sam. Credit to Hasbro for that. But the whole excuse about cost of producing ML vs GIJC because of licensing fees just doesn't fly anymore. Not saying it isn't a factor but there always seems to be a cost increase involved with ML that should offset that easy go-to reasoning. But dead horse beaten. I understand. Not going to harp on it anymore. Until the next time it needs pointing out. Of course. Still not going to buy it unless it shows up on clearance but I do hope we get to see some more winged characters with at least this much articulation and detail. Not a bad figure. Just not my taste anymore and I really don't have much faith this movie is going to be the savior Disney expects it to be.

Well not only in your opinion, but mine too.

Right....the only real reason to get this one is for the Harrison Ford head, which they didn't make, and the likelihood they'll release one with his face....slim. Usually, I don't worry about hasbo re-doing something 'cause reuse is part of their production model. But since Ford is going to be the big draw for this film, and since they had already permission to use his likeness for their Indiana Jones line, it's odd that they didn't do it here.

That just goes to show how greedy these actors are. If reports are true Harrison swooped in like a vulture and actually asked for the role as soon as he heard about Hurt's passing. The fact that he would hold out on using his likeness in merchandise makes him look even more petty. I bought it though. I just assumed it was bad product photography and he would ultimately look more like him in final productio but I guess he's really not going to look anything like Harrison. Add another reason to the pile why I generally do not buy MCU figures. What is the point if you can't get the face of the actor on the figure?
