A buddy of mine happened to have insomnia and was up at 2 am when they restocked a few weeks later. On the other hand, this happened to me on Black Widow too. Then the same guy and I were at a random Target and found full racks of Widow on clearance for 12 bucks. Even though they were still sold out online with no real reason to be on sale. So I got two for less than one if I'd snagged it right away!
So don't give up hope, but there really is no telling with Target. They usually restock randomly. Most of the time you'll see some in a store if you have time to hunt. And ebay Will have them, its just a matter of what people will charge. But sorry you missed it, good luck, hope you're able to find one!
I'll say this again and this has worked for me every time. If you get on the Target website at midnight( I know that can be a stretch) on the release date you will be guaranteed to get one. Now by the morning I'd say 6am it will be sold out again. This has worked for the last few Target exclusive's for me. Hope this helps someone out.

Ive wanted this figure for years and Ive heard the horror stories about Target preorders, so I got up early and checked the site every hour on the hour at 7, 8, 9, and 10, EST. The figure showed up at 10:00 I put one in my cart, and it sold out while I was checking out. Are these going to be widely available on the secondary market or are they super limited?

It was $35, though. It's not a $50 figure.
Edit: Ah, unless you're talking Canadian prices. Not sure where you live.

And I'm not trying to come across abrasive. I just reread my post and I was like Damn I must have been heated. Hot flash maybe. But TBH I was angry at this thing from the onset. This is just terrible. Just so terrible. And I do love the double ball joint concept. It is amazing on the G.I. Joe and it's a full time thing with them along with the drop pins in the legs. How they got so far ahead of ML on this front is crazy. And I know it's the difference of a license Hasbro owns versus a license they lease but to me that's always been a BS argument. The accommodations for the price to land the license is accounted for at bid time. The money is already gone. To go throughout the lifetime of the agreement and try to cut corners and pinch pennies to try to recover that money prevents you from making full use of that license. It's just a silly excuse.

Especially without the movie likeness? And I also agree there are many characters from both MCU and Comics that could benefit from DD joints but that should be automatic and it's something they should have learned to utilize correctly and often when applicable a long long time ago. But for an extra $10? No way. What happens whey they start to use drop pins for the legs like they should have used with the new Miles Morales figure instead of giving him that wonky looking thigh gap and hips? Does that tack on another $10?

I've gone in and typed the description of the figure verbatim to what it says in the links provided on this site and it still doesn't come up. Even just typed in Marvel Legends and searched 12 pages deep and still never found them. That's why I always come here first.

Anyway, first time in a while I've managed to get a Target exclusive Legend pre-ordered from them. Woke up later than I intended, but still early enough to get an order in.
It is always odd, which combo of words gets the thing you are looking for up on all these sites. Sometimes less is more, and sometimes I need every extraneous word, like "series", to get it to show up. Maybe I typed too much instead of only "ML Jean", hahaha.

Well thank you, I appreciate that. I wish I also had more time to interact with everyone this board as well!
