Yeah, I'm really debating as well. I never got the RYV Spidey, cause I didn't wanna pay for the 2 pack when I didnt care about the other figure. So, now I'm paying a 2 pack price for one figure? Idk...the more reviews I see, the more I debate canceling. I like the look, and poseability, and the accessories. I Just don't like that price, but I know it'll never be cheaper unless they re release the figure without all the extras. They probably will at some point. It seems there is just a Spider-Man tax now that's been going on for a while. Remember how AF Spidey was 28 bucks? There have been a few more examples and now this and a 30 dollar Tobey.
LOL, now up to $55 on BBTS.
Honestly, I'm this close to canceling this one. Looks great......for a standard Marvel Legend. $25, even $35? Sure, I'll take that all day. I'm in the camp that's not seeing the $50+ price tag.
Sigh....Alright they got me. Those pics Shartimus had of him in the McFarlane swing poses on the stand...that's all it took.Time for me to poney up!
Not enthused over the price but probably ending up snagging one for my 90s gallery.
The physique looks great. All it needed was a lighter shade of blue and a Romita inspired head sculpt

All the things that Lord_Scareglow cites remains issues with me. From my first gaze at this figure, I was frowning, because for the asking price, it should be a "premium" set in all respects: sculpt, articulation, accessories, "value", and ( subjectively) it's not. It's not so much that I'd want MORE stuff in it, I'd want BETTER stuff, and my eyes are not seeing that.
This is just my humble opinion, and I don't want to catch hate for it, But the more I see this figure, the less and less I think of it, and the less I think it's worth it's price, for one it's just another Spider-Man, and at least to me not that amazing of one, sure it's got some extra articulation...but really is it that much more? he has a wee head, he's a bit too lanky, a weird unmasked face, sadly I've seen a lot of people with QC issues on this guy as well, Sure it comes with a bag of accessories, but are they that fantastic? I still struggle to see the value in this, case in point was we got a Black Widow that came with just a tiny bit less, but was priced at regular MSRP, and she was super articulated to boot, something about this doesn't add up for me anyways.
I want everyone who has the desire for this to be happy with what they are getting, I'm not knocking that, but this was any easy pass for me, at almost 100 bucks here in Canada, I just don't see it.
Renew Your vows or Amazing Friends are still IMO the most delightful Spidere-Man Legends we have. I'm good, everyone can keep this Spidey.
Thing is...this isn't going to be the Bookend Spider-Man, it will never end, and when can one truly be satisfied?
Aside from head being little too small I also find that "squinty" eye head problematic, it doesn't look like he's really doing any facial expression but rather that he mistakenly attached different lenses to his mask, if they wanted that look they should have went for something more radical, however, I do like the squinted lens on its own, if both lenses on the second head were like that it would have made for a way better figure imho.
Yeah have to admit, looks even better than i thought (still not worth $50 though).
