I've said it before but these outfits give me Christmas sweater vibes...not a bad thing. If someone does make a sweater based off this, I'm getting it. Havent seen the movie but I'm curious as to what function those tiny black dashes and dots have on the outfit.
Now as far as the figure goes, no, this is not a Vanessa Kirby face. Fudge it all you want, any angle, its just isn't. In stills I've seen so far, she tends to have at least one ear fully visible, hair tucked behind it. That might have helped this figure get a bit closer to the likeness. Having said all that, its a great , GREAT face. I can see it on the comic version Sue Richards, Sharon Carter, younger Marvel Girl Jean Grey (change hair sculpt of course), or Crystal.
Not sure why the extended hand doesnt have a hinge; they used to do that for the Iron Man figures but pretty much don't anymore.
Overall I'm not getting this set but this figure looks good.

Yeah, it would make for a good non-artist-specific rendition of Sue Storm, and any other blonde woman. That is not a detriment.

Gotta say much like the Human Torch figure, this one really lacks in likeness of the Actress, I'm not getting Vanessa Kirby from this head sculpt, like Torch, it's looking like somebody but not Vanessa, it's sorta almost...in some odd ways, but it's missed the target, disappointing to me personally, like with Torch, I feel like they just couldn't actually scan Kirby's face, so this happened.
It's weird because Pedro Reed looks pretty accurate...of course not 100% but at least if I saw it I'd say that's pedro pascal, if I didn't know who was playing Sue or Johnny and I just saw the figure, I'd say who are these people...not the actors who are portraying them, I think overall The Thing obviously turned out the best, but he was the easy one to do.
this ain't it Hasbuds.

It doesn't really look much like the picture he posted against it but I do feel like it does look like Vanessa Kirby. At this point the only thing Hasbro hasn't perfected as far as head sculpts is imitating that natural looking graduating hair line. And honestly I don't think there is much they can do about it. Unless the printing process becomes even more precise. But as far as face sculpts go that sharp hair line and the too yellow hair is the only thing that makes this face sculpt look strange. As far as the figure itself it's they same as the others. I just don't like the uniforms. They look too plain and boxy. After this review I might actually pick this one up. Maybe when it goes on sale which history of most MCU figures says is probably very likely.
Honestly now that you've mentioned it, the headsculpt would probably be a lot closer to the actress had they done more to the hair, instead of this plain, yellowish blonde all over the hair piece. Makes me think that with a bit of customising it's gonna look a lot better, but that can be said about so many of their figures. Still not sure if I should get these figures, though. But yeah Hasbro have never been too strong with their hair game and getting the colours right.
